This album follows the British 1st Regiment of Foot through its encampment and 2 battles at Old Strubridge Village during the 2009 Redcoats & Rebels festival. The French Regiment Saintonge is also breifly featured.

This is a colonial re-enactment collection, not a travelogue. But for those Halifax performers who didn't get the chance to visit the Fortress at Louisbourg, here is what you missed. The Fortress is a colonial re-enactor's dream. It was definitely worth the extra 11 hours of driving and $250 of overpriced Canadian gas to visit. When viewing these photos, you may think, "There is so much to see, and so few people to see it." Welcome to Canada.
